Training

Arts educators. School therapists and mental health counselors. Youth organization staff. All can benefit from a better understanding of how trauma and unmet needs drive difficult behavior and how the techniques of drama therapy can identify those needs and lead to improved insight and participation.

Training programs are customized to support your organization, guiding your staff on using safe role-play techniques, trauma-informed practices, and theater game intervention to work effectively with any group. We provide problem-solving sessions and ongoing supervision where desired.

Learning the evidence-based ENACT Method can significantly increase the ability of staff to reach your clients and help them achieve their goals.

ENACT Method – In-person and Virtual Training

ENACT trainings are designed to teach the ENACT evidence-based method for working with youth who have experienced trauma in schools, hospitals, juvenile justice centers, and other youth-serving programs. You will be introduced to ENACT’s signature role-play interventions and theater games based on attachment theory and developmental trauma.

The ENACT program worked in NYC schools for over 30 years, reaching over 250,000 students, teachers, and parents. ENACT was the recipient of a four-year Ford Foundation research grant.

All sessions are led by Diana Feldman, Psychotherapist, LCAT, drama therapist, author and lecturer.
